Students vs Escape - Who Will Make It Out Alive?
Northumbria University’s Student’s Union took on the challenge of Escape Newcastle’s escape rooms, but how did they do?
Students from all backgrounds, abilities, and subject areas joined forces to take on Escape Newcastle’s escape rooms for the evening!
The 70 students that signed up to attend were treated to an evening of escape rooms, board games provided by our Noughts and Coffees cafe, and axe-throwing with Game Of Throwing - all in the same building!
We asked Northumbria Student’s Union what they thought of their experience with Escape Newcastle. Here are their thoughts:
“Everyone had an incredible time, and it was the perfect way for our teams to bond. The staff were all amazing and so welcoming to us and brilliant at what they do!”
Located in Newcastle’s city centre, our escape rooms are only a 4-minute walk from Northumbria University’s campus, and only a 5-minute walk from both Haymarket Metro and Monument Metro.
Escape can be found on the first floor of LVLS activity centre on Saville Row / Princess Square. With a closing time of 10pm, Escape Newcastle’s rooms are the perfect precursor for students heading out for a night on the town!
With our North East exclusive interactive Champ Throw axe throwing system, interactive V-Darts machines, virtual reality escape rooms, and board game cafe - even if escape rooms aren’t your specialty, LVLS activity centre has something for everyone!
Walk-ins are always welcome at our city centre site, however, to avoid disappointment we advise that you secure your booking ahead of time online or over the phone.
Escape Newcastle’s escape rooms are fun activity for the whole flat, a great way to build trust, and a safe way break the ice!

Students who can present a valid student ID card can use student discount code STU20 to receive 20% off the total cost of the game when booking online - only one student card is required to apply the discount to the whole booking!
Please note, however, that we will need to be presented with the student ID card on arrival for your booking - so don’t leave it at home!
